This is just the beginning of my "Fresh Produce" series.  I have more ideas that are painted in my head that I have to get onto canvas.  I have been asked where this concept came from.  All I can say is that it has slowly evolved from my love of painting still life and wanting to take it further than just a display of fruit, vegetables or flowers.  I've really enjoyed hearing all the wonderful exclamations when people "get" the humor that is intended in these paintings.
